How to choose

  • Budget: exam fees alone are $951. A $149 bank plus free IRS publications is the cheapest complete path; a $499-$799 course buys video lectures, printed books and guarantees.
  • Question count vs quality: 2,000-3,000+ questions is common for full courses. What matters is coverage of every IRS domain and explanations you learn from.
  • Law year: make sure the product is updated for the 2026-27 exam, which tests 2025 law including OBBBA changes.
